Midland’s Open Door exists to bring meaningful help and lasting hope to the homeless, hungry, and hurting here in Midland County. This requires a dedicated team of men and women who have been equipped by Christ and called to serve His purpose. We are looking for individuals who have a genuine commitment to Christian ministry and desire to use their gifts, abilities, and talents to serve while carrying out our vision to reach the hungry, homeless, and hurting in our community.

FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE

The Food Service Associate assists the Food Service Coordinator by participating in all food service operations, including shelter meals, events and guests
participating in the ministry’s work program. The ideal candidate is trained in the food service industry, well-versed in food preparation standards, and highly organized. He or she should also enjoy the blessing of extending biblical hospitality to guests, volunteers and donors who come to the soup kitchen every day to find hope at the Open Door.
